On their way out of London, the Moorins took my parents to Hyde Park where they got to see the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain. The Memorial was opened to the public and dedicated by Queen Elizabeth II just two days earlier, on the very morning we arrived in London after debarking the m.s. Westerdam in Harwich, England. Unfortunately we didn't arrive in the city early enough to make it over to the park for the royal dedication.
